Unlike Portia, you lose Time rather than having to pack multiple stamina foods to fight the monsters inside, and the amount of Time is given to you prior to entry. You lose a buff and gain dark eyes, but otherwise it's fine. There's no Stamina Penalty for staying up late. Overall, I think that its a beautiful game with a lot of character :) (Like mines, farming and fishing are different among other things) I also feel like the devs are making an effort to change up some of the mechanics. Like the town needs you to build something instead of it would be nice to have a bridge, ect. Some of the quest feel like they are higher stakes than in Portia. Sandrock is a bit rough around the edges at first but i loved to see people warming up to you as they got to know you and become your friend. Portia was a quaint town with plenty of resources and a tight knit community who were more or less happy to meet you because they knew your pa. ![]() Sandrock does have a different feel to it. Maybe its just me but I like playing a portion of this game and eagerly awaiting the next update ( I know that might not be for everyone) I love watching the game form and look forward to updates and fixes. Sandrock has been, hands down, the best experience I have had with an early release. I loved Portia but right now I feel like Sandrock blows it out of the water in some aspects. ![]()
